Well, this is gonna be one damn short bash report. I didn't manage to make it and hardly anyone took any screenshots. In fact, the only screenies I have are the final scores for most of the maps. Maybe someone who was there can write a bit about it? :) But, here we go anyway....

Map 1 - de_dust
Well, this is good stuff. No-one managed to get any screenshots of the first map. According to some witnesses though, the CT's completely dominated the map. The Baron managed a few long range kills and the CT's defused the bomb a couple of times. Thats all the info I could get outta them. Like getting blood from a stone.....

Map 2 - as_highrise
The Terrorists started off strong, winning most of the early rounds. The VIP almost made it a couple of times, but the terrorists didnt let escape. HighVis was playing 'sneaky buggers' on the roofs and popping the VIP. The CT's made a bit of a comeback though. This was instigated by bold stealing sloth's AWP and wiping out the terrorists for a couple of rounds straight.
Judging by the final scores, it looked like quite a balanced map, with the CT's coming back to steal it.

Map 3 - de_vegas
A couple of people left, which made this map a bit harder to play. Meant that the CT's were spread really thinly and struggled to defend both bomb points successfully. Also, whoop had to even the teams which screwed up the CT's roger-wilco comunication.
To be honest, I reckon the CT's spend half the time trying to trigger that ghost in the room above the CT spawn point. Bunch of workshy layabouts....
In conclusion, the terrorists won convincingly.

Map 4 - cs_assault2k
Well, this more balanced assault clone seemed to be more benificial to the CT's than the original cs_assault ever was. This was one of the more enjoyable maps in the bash. Apparently, Bold is now banned from using the AWP, and whoop was a turncoat. Make of it what you will......

Map 5 - cs_estate
I have no idea what happened on this one, as everyone had left IRC by the time I came to write this. But, from looking at the score, I can guess.
The terrorists camped indoors quite consistantly, stopping most of the CT's attacks. Burgess and MrWhoopass were the dominating players on the terrorist side, racking up some serious kills. The Counter-Terrorists were fairly consistant across the board as far as kills went, but they could not frequently break the terrorist's defense.

Neil (HighVis) said this :

Oh, I forgot about Lysets acrobatics on Highrise! He was a CT, and he shot up the rope... jumped out of the vent... onto my head.. stayed there for a second, while I looked in vain for him... Then dropped down behind me and took me and another T out..

You gotta love IRC, it has the effect of making someone sound like they have no grasp of basic punctuation :)

TheBaron said :

on dust, I shot a few people from long range, CT's won, I defused the bomb even though Bold had a defuse kit but I refused to let him have a go :)

What professionalism, if only all Counter-Terrorist organisations behaved that way..... :)

I apologise for the absolutely piss-poor attempt at a bash report this has turned out to be. Next time, I will attend the bash and maybe have something interesting to say.
Maybe other regulars will start taking more screenshots. Who knows...

Thanks to Mr Whoopass and Burgess for the screenshots.
